In the pink!

Oh my goodness. It's been absolutely ages since I last posted. What with one thing and another plus a trip to Wales to see my mum and sister, I just haven't had time.

I wanted to use the summer holidays to really get on with crafting and start making Christmas stock before going back to school in September.  Well that didn't happen!

Oh well. Onwards and upwards as they say.

Here is today's easel card.

Bet you can't guess why the post title is called in the pink!!!!

The stamp is by the Greetings Farm and is part of the Wild Sprouy series called Stella. Isn't she cute?
I've coloured her with promarkers.
The sentiment reads 'birthday wishes' and I just love the big pink bow.

I'm going to enter this card into 2 challenges.

I love promarkers - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes

Hope you like it.

Magnolia stamps

I don't know about you but my creativeness tends to go in phases. I will use a certain brand of stamps for a while or turn to scrapbooking (Ican feel that phase coming on again soon). It might be colours or embellishments. Years ago I went through a phase of using Magnolia stamps. I used them to death and fell out of love with them. Well that phase has come back. I bought a couple of new ones and now want to use them for everything!

Anyway, here is today's card complete with Ribbon Tilda.

I coloured her with promarkers and added lots of bling.

I'm going to enter this into 7 challenges

I love promarkers - vintage
Divas by design - for a female
Just magnolia - pearls and swirls
Totally papercrafts - frame your image
Crafty catz weekly - anything goes
Stampin for the weekend - monochrome
Tilda Town - shabby chic

I always read your comments and appreciate you taking the time to look at my blog.

I'm a winner!

Wow! What a beautiful day! Will it stay like this for our car boot sale on Sunday I wonder. Or how about our camping trip next weekend? I really hope so, but the doubter in me thinks not!!!

Anyway, did you notice the badge (is that what you call it?) on the right hand side of my blog?

I won a challenge on the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog with this card:

The challenge was neopolitan ice cream. OK so I know it was a random draw out of the hat, but who cares eh? A win is a win in my book!

Step card

Good afternoon everyone. There was me complaining about the weather the other day and now it's beautiful out again. Maybe there IS hope for our camping trip after all!

Today I'm showing you a step card.

Funky huh?

I used a stamp that I haven'y used for a long time and it's by Sugarplums and is called Sunshine Emma. She is coloured with promarkers. I've die-cut the leafy swirls on each side and used a punch to create the border at the bottom. I've added a few flowers and put a ribbon around the button, sticking a button in the middle.

Oh to be at the beach!!!!

I'm entering this card into 8 challenges

The Pink Elephant - Ribbon galore
Totally Stampalicious - How do you like to spend your summer?
Passion for promarkers - at the beach
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Inky Impressions - Tie it up
Simon Says Stamp - bingo choice (mine was ribbon, die-cut and buttons)
Little Miss Muffet - Scallops (bottom of the card and both long edges of the green punched border)
Paperplay challenge - shaped card

Oof - that's a lot of challenges this time!!

Anyway, enjoy the sun.

Olympic fever!

Oh my goodness. I had such good intentions to get LOADS of card making done over the summer holidays and then the olympics came along! I haven't been able to drag myself away from the telly and therefore hardly anything has been done!!!

However, I DO have something to share with you today.

I've made this birthday card in my favourite colour combination of pink and green. Love, love, love this combo. I've used a decorative corner punch on the top corners and some die cut butterflies. I think this makes a lovely summery birthday card. Having said that, I'm not sure we're having much of a summer and we're supposed to be going camping for a long weekend in 2 weeks time. Even though it will be the middle of August, you just can't guarantee the weather!

I'm going to enter this card into 1 challenge.

Charisma Cardz - pink + 1

So, as always, I would love to know what you think.
